About Cedar Hills Ready!Getting prepared together is fun, builds friendships, and may save your life or the lives of your family, neighbors, and friends. Natural disasters like wildfires, floods, severe storms have been increasing in the last few decades. We are stronger together in the face of these dangers.
Our mission at Cedar Hills Ready! is to create caring, connected, and resilient neighborhoods. We are committed to making sure that every neighbor in our communities is prepared and has the best chance of survival in the event of a disaster.

Professional first responders will not be able to help individuals in such a large natural disaster for an extended period. We can create a community where neighbors have the tools and knowledge and a plan to make sure everyone has the best possible chance of surviving. Our predictable future, if we do nothing? We could lose it all—our lives, homes, and neighbors. We need to be prepared and connected with each other—so that we can be resilient in the face of any disaster.

Cedar Hills Ready! is a grassroots group of volunteers who are helping neighbors by offering educational events, information, and a variety of opportunities to learn about easy ways you can prepare. Contact us for more information.
Our volunteers include members of Quake Up, the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and other community organizations, as well as our neighbors who want to learn and get involved. You can participate too! Join our friendly group of neighbors and get more connected. Come to one of our meetings and join the fun. We can also help get your block prepared with a free disaster response training session with the neighbors on your block. |
